This protocol is based on the document guideline of the NGS Sport & Wellness massage branch association.
Client
As a client, you will not have any Corona, symptoms of illness, housemates with symptoms of illness, fever, shortness of breath or home isolation.
Room
- At least half an hour is scheduled between appointments so that you do not run into each other as a client and I have enough time to clean and disinfect the table and the room.
- Upon entering the room, tea and water will be ready for you.
- The massage table has an extra oil resistant cover and an oil resistant headrest cover. An extra face cover is laid over the headrest (disposable).
- The room is also equipped with a chair where the client can sit and leave his/her clothes during the massage.
- The room is well ventilated and after each massage extra air is provided by opening a window.
Masseur
- I am aware of the RIVM guidelines and keep 1.5 metres in the room when entering and leaving.
- I wear a t-shirt during treatment and no jewellery.
- I tie my hair together by wearing a ponytail.
- If desired, I use a mouth mask. The RIVM does not make this compulsory.
Entry and treatment procedure
- You report to the front door.
- On entry, a distance of 1.5 metres is maintained and no hands are shaken.
- You are kindly requested to walk through immediately afterwards to wash your hands with soap and water (dry them with paper) and then to disinfect your hands.
- During the intake 1.5 metres distance is kept.
- Verbal consent is given for the treatment and no signature is used, due to the risk of pen contamination.
- During the treatment itself, there is as little talking as possible.
- I wash my hands myself with soap and water and then lubricate them with oil. The oil is not a habitat for the virus.
After the massage
- We both wash our hands with soap and water.
- I clean the used and touched objects in the room.
- The used towels and worn clothing are washed immediately after the treatment.
- At the end of the day, I take an extensive shower.
